Do you have a creative side? If so, how does it express itself?
Yes, definitely. I enjoy drawing and painting, I like singing, and I make my own clothes. How successful these creative ventures are, I leave it to others to judge, with a smile.
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
A night owl. My energy doesn’t come with the alarm clock - but it does come!
Imagine you wake up tomorrow and suddenly possess one new positive trait or skill. What would it be?
I would effortlessly become a morning person - without losing my evening energy. The best of both worlds, so to speak.
Do you stick to any rituals? If so, which ones?
No real rituals, but I do have one running habit: stopping exactly at a full kilometer.
What was your most recent holiday destination?
This winter I went skiing in the Zillertal. Ski trips are my favorite, although I certainly don’t say no to sunshine in summer.
What is one good resolution you make every year?
My annual resolution is to run 1,000 km. Over the past three years, I completed a marathon; whether that will be on the agenda again this year remains to be seen!
What is your role within YouConnect?
At YouConnect, I work as a Recruitment Consultant HR, supporting clients and candidates in their search for the right match.
What did you do before joining YouConnect?
After completing my studies in Applied Economic Sciences, I gained valuable experience in the world of hard HR: first several years as a senior consultant at an HR consultancy firm, followed by roles as a payroll expert and HR data analyst at an international company in the food industry.
What attracted you to your role at YouConnect?
My heart increasingly leaned toward the people-oriented side of HR. That is why I consciously chose a role in recruitment and selection, where I can apply my passion for soft HR every day.
What do you consider the most important skills for a recruitment consultant?
The ability to listen without immediately judging is crucial. Only when you truly understand the person behind the profile can you create the right connection.
Which interview question do you find most valuable and consistently insightful?
I like to start interviews by asking who someone is beyond their studies and work experience. Learning who someone truly is in daily life immediately provides valuable insights that go beyond a CV.
