Pauline joined our Legal Interim Management team in 2022 and we got to know her as a very kindhearted & dedicated colleague, who works very thoroughly.
  1. Do you have a creative side? If so, how does it manifest?
    Yes, I play the piano! I can truly get lost in classical, romantic piano music and I also enjoy playing compositions like those of Chopin. In these pieces, you can add your own accent and unleash your creativity.

  2. What's your favorite season and why?
    Spring! Feeling the first warm rays of the sun and the fact that it's lighter in the mornings makes me cheerful.

  3. Which historical character would you have liked to meet?
    Emperor Augustus. I read the book "Augustus" by John Williams - a great recommendation! It's based on texts from historical figures in his circle. An impressive tale of friendship, ambition, and the challenging path to power in corrupt Rome.

  4. What moves you?
    Love, affection, and people helping each other.

  5. How do you like to spend your weekends?
    I enjoy spending weekends with my family, friends, and especially with my son. I also like to dedicate some time to my hobbies: horseback riding, playing the piano, and taking walks in nature. These are things that bring me peace!

  6. What is your favorite city and why?
    I can't choose between Vienna and Oslo. Oslo holds a special place in my heart! I was there on Erasmus 8 years ago, and that's where I met my husband. I recently visited the city again and noticed how much it had evolved (in terms of architecture, etc.), bringing back memories of that wonderful time. I also lived in Vienna for a year. This beautiful, cultural city with its fascinating 'Habsburg' history leaves a lasting impression!

  7. What is your role at YouConnect?
    I am a Legal Interim Management Recruitment Consultant.

  8. According to you, what are the key skills a recruitment consultant should possess?
    Active listening skills, knowledge of the (legal interim) market, and perseverance.

  9. How would you describe the atmosphere among colleagues at YouConnect?
    There's a really pleasant working atmosphere: colleagues are helpful, easygoing, and have a good sense of humor. However, they are also enterprising and very professional. It’s an ideal combination of individuals who take the job seriously without necessarily taking themselves too seriously.

  10. Where do you draw your energy from?
    Assisting people in finding the right next professional step.

  11. What quality do you most appreciate in your conversation partner?
    Openness and honesty.

  12. Which interview question do you find the best and consistently results in valuable insights?
    What are you looking for in a (next) legal interim assignment?
