We have the pleasure of introducing Maxim! He joined our team as a Recruitment Outsourcing Consultant in July 2023. Maxim's level-headed personality, attentive demeanor, and insatiable appetite for learning, makes him the perfect person to accomplish impeccable matches.
  1. If you were to go to a deserted island, what would you definitely take with you?
    Captain Jack Sparrow's compass and a guitar should suffice.

  2. If you could travel back in time, to which era would you go?
    I would return to the 1960s-2000s. I was born in 1999, and unfortunately, I never had the chance to experience a live concert of many of my favourite bands .Think Queen (Live Aid), Jimi Hendrix (Woodstock), Oasis (when the Gallagher brothers still got along), Nirvana (at the Vooruit!), The Rolling Stones (in their younger days),... Having the chance to attend those legendary concerts is reason enough for me to travel back to that period in time.

  3. What profession did you want to pursue as a child?
    I most wanted to become a wizard and study at Hogwarts, but unfortunately, I never received my acceptance letter by owl. My backup plan was to become a Jedi, but Earth's technology wasn't advanced enough to practice that profession. So, I became a recruiter :)

  4. Do you like music? If yes, what is your all-time favourite?
    Music runs as a common thread throughout my life. I'm often engrossed in with music and also play the guitar and bass guitar ...in a few bands. I regularly perform live concerts with those bands as well. I'm also a big fan of attending concerts and festivals.

  5. What is your small joy? Guilty Pleasure?
    I love watching the sunset on the beach with a glass of wine and some snacks. Additionally, I can really enjoy street musicians. I often find happiness in the little things.

  6. What is your role within YouConnect?
    HR Outsourcing Consultant. This means I work on-site with clients on a project basis to provide temporary support in recruitment & selection.

  7. What did you do before joining YouConnect?
    I was an HR Officer with a focus on payroll & admin in a retail organization.

  8. In your opinion, what are the most important skills a recruitment consultant should possess?
    In my opinion, the most important skill is active listening. A recruiter who can listen well can extract the essence of a conversation and ask relevant follow-up questions. Those who listen well often discover much more.

  9. What makes YouConnect as a company unique?

  10. What do you consider important in your interactions with candidates and clients?
    Authenticity, punctuality, and respect.
