We're thrilled to introduce Sarah, an urban enthusiast and a passionate advocate for the English language and literature. Her analytical mind, boundless curiosity, and unwavering positivity make her a valuable asset to our HR Perm-team.

What are your interests, hobbies, and passions outside of work?

I'm incredibly passionate about literature so you can often find me deeply engrossed in the pages of a captivating book. I also like doing puzzles, swimming, hiking and occasionally going to a pub with my friends.

What is your ultimate vacation destination, and what draws you to it?

For as long as I can remember, Scotland has held a special place in my travel aspirations. While it might not be the most exotic destination, the sheer natural beauty of the region is breathtaking. As a master in English language and literature, I'm profoundly drawn to the language's nuances. To be fair, this fascination with Scotland is slightly inspired by the Netflix series "Outlander".

Could you recommend a must-read book, TV series, or film?

"Atonement" by Ian McEwan is a genuine recommendation. The story is set during World War II and follows the youthful imagination of young Briony, which has disastrous consequences for her family and friends. In the book, you become lost in McEwan's writing style, immersing yourself fully in the characters. McEwan's writing style immerses you in the characters' world. The film adaptation, featuring outstanding performances by Keira Knightley and James McAvoy, captures the essence just as well.

Would you describe yourself as more attuned to nature or city life?

I'm a city person with an affinity for nature. I enjoy taking long walks in forests or along the coast, but I always need to return to a house/apartment with warm water and a comfortable bed. Camping isn't for me, and small insects are definitely not welcome.

What role do you hold at YouConnect?

Without a doubt, one of the most critical skills for a recruitment consultant is active listening. Building a trustworthy rapport with both candidates and clients hinges on being an attentive and empathetic listener.

It's a very welcoming company, something I noticed from my first contact during the application process. The atmosphere is one of mutual care and a shared willingness to extend help during challenging times. Right from the start, I felt completely at home within YouConnect.

What aspirations do you harbor within YouConnect?
